Damn what a workout ! Insanity the Asylums

Todays workout was no joke. We as in Michael and I decides to asylum vol one again.
Today was day one. We had a Fit test and the First workout, speed amd agility.
I have done a1 before...a couple of times. We will see what Really happens When I give it my all and eat  clean and Take shakeology and my recovery fórmulas.
The time has come for me to show ME whAt i can do.

121lbs Vs 130lbs - Hot Hips
I wanted to push myself today and see what i may be capable of . I weighed in yesterday morning at 120.8lbs, I was a little surprised to see that number on the scale. To be honest, I thought I weighed more
My main concern is my measurements. I am attempting to keep my waist to hip ratio at 10-12 inches in difference. Yep, going for Super Sexy Fit Phatty!

Now that you know what i'm up to check out the video and see for yourself :)
The weight I am attempting to do is 130lbs with a set of 10. i think would be a good challenge for me.
I hadnt done it before and i dont know if i will be able to get to 10 but i am going to try. I find that when i breathe , when the workout is getting hard, then I am able to better push through.

PURE CARDIO SQUARED - "insanity"

WHOA! That is a lot of sweat!” Is what I was thinking to myself as we were half way finished with our Insanity workout this morning.
Lets back up a few first.
Yesterday , My sometimes workout partner, Alejandra agreed to meet this morning at 520 am so that we that she can do Insanity with me.
We get there, NO Alejandra and as a matter of a fact, the gym room that we use to do our workouts, was not available because of painting.
I was like REALLY!
Armando, the guy that works at the counter tells me this as im checking in. “hey, Tiyona, by the way, the Group x room is open BUT smells like paint, so you might want to do your video workout somewhere else in the gym”.
So Michael and I walk around, look and I get discouraged. Then , I was told, there is a spot upstairs but you have to get there before it gets crowded.
I damn near broke my ankles trying to get up stairs.
I get up there and yes there is space, I set up and push play.
DURING THE WORKOUT
While, I’m working out this man comes and sits on the machine next to me. He is staring at the screen and seemed mesmerized by all the jumping and sweating going on.
“What are you staring at it for…Get up and join us” I tell him.
It seems as if he was awaiting the invite and jumped up and joined it.
He was doing pretty good for a fellow who just walked up and decided to do Insanity. I could tell he wasn’t going to be with us long, he was already sweat soaked from his previous workout.
Once, he had enough of his mini ass kicking, he stepped back and said, “Whew! That is good. “, I turned to him and said” And this is JUST the warm up!” You should have seen his eyes…Priceless!
I think that was the moment he realized running it’s going to do it alone.
Back to the workout, I look over as I’m taking a water break and guess who I see…Alejandra! On the Stairmill!
Oh hell no!
I ran over and said “hi, we are over here come on and lets go…come on come on…we only have 10 minutes left” As she is trying to tell me she didn’t see me and yada yada yada J.
We get back over, and I missed like 30 seconds , that’s okay. We start and as she is getting warmed up and Michael and I are already kinda pooped because we only had 5 minutes left…I go back 10 minutes on the dvd!
Michael looked at me as to say “Okay, Let’s do this, but I think Alejandra, might die”
As I was working this workout, I realized that I must be in amazing fucking shape. I just did 10 extra minutes of Pure Cardio.
Wait, I just realized something, I’m getting closer and closer to my goal of being able to do Pure Cardio for 10 mins straight NO stopping or taking breaks.
LONG STORY SHORT…..WE SMASHED THAT! Lol

I’m so happy that I didn’t make excuses and I feel great that I got to do my workout.

All in all, Just don’t let “obstacles or even your own discouragement” get in your way of doing what will only be best for you. It might suck at the beginning but how soft and wonderful the wind will feel on your sweat soaked body at the end!

so far i have done well in the change, i have saved 12 bucks so far! :)

, i still have to get a tube top . im working at the fish only diet, i think im doing good. i had salmon and capers for breakfast!! :) feel like a champ:) .

Out of Gas but Not Faith ! + 2.5 hour workout summary - realtruthhurts / fit phatty

hey Fit Phattys,
Okay, this morning was a trip. I woke up late at 5am and then had the nerve to lay there and get frisky and play with my hubby. We didnt start this morning off rocking the sheets but we did have fun wrestling.
Very Fun way to start a day. My boo, goes to school and next to his school is a 24 hour fitness. I recently, like 2 weeks ago, started a membership with them.
If you know Los Angeles, then you know that traffic is terrible. I suggested, since we didnt have much gas int he car, that we pack up, clothes, shower items, and books, and laptops and take it all out there.
So we pack up and 20mins later we are on the rode and its a nice and clear drive. NEVER WOULD HAVE HAPPEN AT 9AM lol.
We were out there on the highway by 610am. We almost made it to the school and right before we got ready to get to our exit.... we ran out of gas! on the HIGHWAY!
Cars were zipping by. We thought,,maybe if we push the car, we can make it to the hill and coast all the way down to our exit, to which there is a gas station RIGHT THERE!
As I examined the roadway, cars, visibility, i said TO HELL WITH THAT! LOL i didnt want to get SMASHED on the highway.
Even though the hill wasnt far, it was too far for us to try to make it on the highway.
He checked the trunk... a gas can and it had a SMIDGET of gas in it.. yes a SMIDGET! We prayed and asked that, that little bit get us to the hill at least and i could coast that bad boi (car) down the hill.
He puts in the gas. I knew i only had one chance to do this, so i had to wait on him to get in the car.
He's in...
I check the traffic coming because i have to make sure the lane is all mine and i don't kill anyone trying to make it to the hill.
i check..
Its good, i turn the key...IT STARTS! as soon as i get ready to pull out a car gets in the lane, by this time , i have the flashers on and im already pulling out....
The car slows, and go and guess...WE MADE IT TO THE HILL!
We coasted for about 3mins down the hill until we made it to the Ventura exit. and then we glided right into the gas station.
As soon as i stop in front of the tank the car shuts off! WE MADE IT!
i just wanted to share that part of my morning with you and say that no matter what...it may seem like you are out of gas, you may think that you have to push your way to the hill, but if you just stop think for a min, you might find the gas you need to help you coast to your destination of (fuel)fulfillment.

Now for my workout today :)
Today i worked out for 2hours 45mins.
  • StairMill while wearing 10lb vest & 2lb gloves - 25 Mins Level 7  85 floors
  • Leg Press - 4 sets of 15 , started at 90/180/360/450lbs
  • One leg Press - 3 sets of 12 - 90lbs each leg
  • Smith machine - 3 sets - 50lbs/70lbs/50lbs
  • Frog Jumps to Bench - 3 sets of 10
  • Jump rope in between sets
  • Elevated Weighted Squats - 4 sets of 15 35/45/45/45
  • Step-Ladder Kick backs - 2 sets of 5
Abs-
  • Small waist workout 1
  • + 20 Pullups
As you can see i was busy, or at least i like to think so :). i put in the work because i want the results. i am not about to complain if i know i haven't put myself through the pain.
Im going to be fit, i will surpass myself each time, there is no going back.
This year is the year of "the Fit Phatty " :)

NEW PLATES for a Bigger Butt & Walking Lunges + Goals + Challenge

I see now that after all this time of working out and doing my walking lunges and working my bootay /. glutes taht its time for me to upgrade. i need to do more for my bootay because it has gotten so strong that if i dont i will be working out for nothing and i dont want to do that. so here is what im going to do. i am going to find myself some more plates. i really love using these plates. they are the best for walking lunges and they really make a difference in my workouts. i can use them for a lot fo things and that makes my workouts go very well. i know that working the butt is very important to alot of people and it should be because its the muscle that yeilds a lot of POWER and gets a lots of LOOKS. having a nice ass shows that you have good health all around. so im going to upgrade to 35 to 45lb plates. not sure which im going to do but i am going up in weight. so wish my butt and me luck. see you on the sexy side. 2 a days for 3 weeks - today - turfofire and insanity the asylum

MAKING IT HAPPEN!! I just finished both workouts! i feel really good about doing both workouts. turbofire hiit 25 AND Insanity the Asylum Strength workouts. yea im Dedicated to My health!! i knew this morning that i could do it. but for some reason there was a little fear in my heart about it. i was scared that i might kill myselff trying to complete these workouts. then i thought about it... am I not worth dying for? Yes , yes i am! so from this point forward I decided that I will workout my hardest , even if it kills me. If i dont workout, it will  kill me, so either way im done. so why not make sure i am at least sexy and fit for my "last" party.
I had a great great workout, and had more energy than i thought... even after the workout.
i made sure that i downed the whole thing of recovery formula, because i refuse to be sore tomorrow lol. yea i refuse!!
I will be doing 2 a day workouts on wed- friday every week for a least the next 3 weeks. til aug 1.  Root for me~ tiyona

Now that i can lift my own phat ass i want to make sure i can hold myself up. Ever seen those movies where  , the guy is falling off the cliff and his friend holds on with 1 hand, but the other guy is too weak to pull hisself up....well i dont want to be the guy hanging there all weak..and then...DROP!! no thanks. lol. not that i hang out on moutain tops or anything but still. better safe than sorry :)

ALL 10 CHINUPS AND 10 and a Possible lol Pullups. I got one but it was really right..didnt want to cheat myself! ;) what have you done to challenge yourself today?
