So, last night I sit there looking around trying to figure what I wanted to work tomorrow.I had my calendar laid our already pretty much telling me what days im going to work what, but not exactly all the moves were laid out. So , I figure it out and I say to myself, “Oh yea, Im going to get up early and get myself to the gym and then im going to be able to leave and get out to the school on time.”. Yeah, like I said, that’s what I told myself. I roll over this morning, with the thought in my head, okay going to get to the gym at 5:30 am and workout to 7 am and handle my business., Why, when I roll over to look at the clock to see what time it is, the clock is staring at me, glowing 5:19am!
I just laid back down and said to myself , REALLY?! . okay get your ass up and get dressed and get out of here and go take care of business.” I wake up the hubby, get your butt up , we have to go. I play some music to get the house alive and going. Turn on some lights to make It bright and motivating.  I knew I planned on working it hard today, so I weighed in and then had a recovery drink before I went. I drank it at about 5:45am.
Made it to the gym and got lucky on a parking spot. There was one, right in front of the gym, just waiting on us. That’s a big thing about los angeles, the parking, it can be crazy at times. You have to have patience and an eagle eye! J

LEGS  & GLUTES
My Mission today: To work my ass so hard that tomorrow, I m going to need a heating pad for it. I am going for these two inches and that’s that! I made a vow myself that It can be done and im going to do it.!
Todays Workout Summary:
Todays workout was NO JOKE!. It might have looked slow in pace but my  heart was racing and my sweating was pouring. I was going for gold today. In my mind I said if today was the last chance I had to grow my bootay, how hard would I work? So I was going to work AS I THERE WAS NO TOMORROW!
I started workout with a warm up on the treadmill. I put on the best, my weighted gloves and got to work! I went .5 miles in 8:45. I wanted to make sure to warm my legs up, because I knew what , was about to come!
WORKOUT SUMMARY:
Treadmill – Warm up
Superman’s -
Weighted Kick Backs
Leg Press
Calf Raises
High Knee raises
Barbell Twist
Weighted One Leg DeadLift
Weighted Squats
 Treadmill – Warm up – 8 mins 45 seconds. .50  miles




Superman’s – 3 sets of 45 seconds hold while wearing my Weighted Vest by Cathe’. I love this vest as you can see. It really light and comfortable and it gives me a really good booast in my weight training and I sweat like crazy J.
Kick Backs – There is a machine at the gym, that allows for the weight to sit in the cradle oif the back of your knee. The moves is to kick back and lift up. I like this machine because it helps building my bootay and to smooth out that nasty cellulite by building fat burning muscle in my hamstrings. The weight I use is :
60/70/80 lbs,  doing 15 reps. I increase the weight by 10 after every set of reps. So, ill do 15 at 60lbs, the add 70lbs for the next 15 and so on.

Leg Press-


Todays Leg Press was no joke! It hurt like hell but I pushed through. This is why I like working with a partner, the challenge. I was challenge to increase my weight by 90lbs after each set!. So, in the leg press, I started with two 45lbs on each side, then added one 45lb plate after every 15reps with a 45 second break in between.
It looks like this in Weight:

LeftSide/ Right Side = Total

90/90=180lbs
135/135= 270lbs
180/180 = 360lbs
225/225= 450lbs
Calf Raises -  Today, in Calf raises I took it kind of light.  I used the seated calf machine, so I could get a focus on my shens as well. I did a 25lb plate and 35lb plate. 15 reps. 3 times.
High Knee raises – Today I only did about 75 for each side. I feel like I would get my abs later tonight before bed, but they need a rest.
Barbell Twist – I did this move standing. I Twisted the 10lb barbell for about 2 mins, back and forth. I wanted to make a sure I got a good, 180 degree turn in my rotation. The goal is to get my waist as small as possible. Sometime  a Jessica Rabbit, type size.
One Leg DeadLift -  This workout is one of my favorites. I like how you must dedicate yourself to having correct form. This move is something I use to tighted up my hamstrings and my glutes.  I usually use about a 25lbs plate and do 3 sets of 15.
STRETCH!
After a workout like this, I have nothing left to do but to stretch and stretch good. I will not make the mistake of thinking that stretching can wait, because the best time to so it is when the muscles are warm.
I feel really good about my workout and I know the Fit Phattys will be proud of me. I feel good and strong. Im going to win this and get my body back.
